From Brainstorming to Execution

These past few days I've been working to translate my concepts and ideas from the pages of my sketchbook to digital files with InDesign and Illustrator.  I am slowly but surely learning the ropes of Illustrator.  Today I made considerable progress on my book cover my finishing the border.

As I move on, I'm considering changing the color of my background--lightening it up a bit to a light greenish gray, allowing the title to be stronger in color.  I'm also considering removing the bottom portion of my bridge pillars to reinforce the border that's been created.
